On passing the MOT test, the vehicle will receive a certificate valid from the date of expiry of your existing MOT certificate .

What is involved
The annual testing of your vehicle to ensure it meets minimum road safety standards. You may view the MOT test if you wish. It will be carried out by a Vehicle Inspectorate approved tester. An assistant is essential for proper conduct of the MOT test. You must not interrupt or distract the tester during the inspection.

An MOT Certificate relates only to the condition of testable items at the time of the test. It should not be regarded as evidence of the condition of the items tested at any other time nor should it be taken as evidence of the general mechanical condition of the vehicle.

To book a timed appointment weekdays 8.45 - 4.00 or Saturday 9.00 - 11.00 clock. Simply call 01384 241140 and speak to one of the reception staff to arrange a mutually agreeable appointment time. Please try and allow two to three days to book in.

To remain compliant with VOSA regulations our equipment has regular 12 monthly examination. The staff are regularly tested with quality control methods and they also attend VOSA refresher courses to keep up to date with the MOT test amendments.

You may choose to sit in our comfortable reception area whilst your vehicle is being MOTD or if you would like to view the vehicle being MOTD we have a viewing area inside the workshop. Either way we will assure you of a carefully conducted MOT test that will ensure you that your vehicle is or isn't fit for the road.
